I think the fear-factor of not being able to revise and edit is really exciting. (As I type this comment, I've already deleted probably 50 times.) I teach HS English and I think that this is a great idea for students too, especially those who are afraid to write because of spelling errors and grammar mistakes -- even when their ideas are brilliant.
