@ Rhonda – Your personal blogging history sounds like it follows the way the blogging world as a whole developed. Started as web-logs, logging someone’s narrative, then they became creative outlets with endless possibilities, and now there’s a whole culture of following blogs

Congratulations on being the first blogger featured in this blog project! Personally, I started blogging because I wanted to keep a diary of sorts. Keep my family in the loop. However, I changed jobs and am now doing transcription, which means I spend every day, all day, not having a single independent thought, as I'm always typing everyone else's thoughts. Blogging became my creative outlet. I have discovered that while I'm not the best writer out there, I do have some talent. I can entertain people with some of my crazier memories, or thoughts. Or make them weepy with some of my sadder stories. I love the fact that people are now interested in what I have to say. I have 'followers', and am, as they say, a comment whore. lol I do try to keep low-key enough so that I have time to read my favorites daily, and respond to those newbies who comment on my site. I'm happy with my dozen or two bloggers, but would be ecstatic to have a week's worth of triple digit comments! Just short-term, though, because that would be incredibly overwhelming!! lol Rhonda´s last blog post..It Seems It Has Happened

@ Blake – If you’re passionate about your topic, of course it’ll be both fun and frustrating. Whenever we work on something that’s so important to us, we feel every bump and snag. But I think you’d agree that the exhilaration far outweighs the downsides?

@ Ken – I feel like I’m still absorbing and learning so much (aren’t we all, I suppose), so sometimes I don’t feel as comfortable with an authoritative expression as I do with writing about exploring approaches. I’m not sure if that’s exactly what you were getting at, but I’m curious for you to expand on what you meant…

I like the personal voice and the mind-map, but I hope you develop your voice *about* something, not just *how* something. The two are obviously linked, but we often learn how by deeply exploring an about. Ken Wagner´s last blog post..Cricket Song | haiku
